Lamla Eugen Dlamini

“My name is Lamla Eugen Dlamini , born at Mzimkhulu south of KZN. I am the last born at home with two senior brothers who have been so supporting in my early childhood, until they all passed away. In the year 1999 I sustained injuries at work and became disabled , as result I could not find any job that best suits my disability needs and became hopeless. I started attending classes at PMI for a period of 12 months. In this 12 months programme I attained a lot of experience in Admin office work and with good performance I was then granted a second chance to do NQF 3 Admin Office , in the same year I was amongst three learners who won a trip to Drakensberg for an outstanding  performance in class.  It has been an amazing journey for me ,since I am now able to provide for my family  and people no longer undermine me  and look at me as useless disabled individual who depend on government grant and I managed to build a house for my family through this learnership programme. With all the skills and experience that you guys shared with me I have managed to get a job at Boxer Head Office as an Admin Clerk, I therefore would like to thank the whole I CAN team for everything they have done for me. I have now regained hope even though I still live with disability but I feel like I was born again.”
